Bookcase and TV standMade from a skeleton of 2" x 1" carefully skinned with mitred MDF to the specific plans of the client in order to incorporate a television and other stereo equipment Mitred joins make for seamless furniture when painted and this piece of furniture fitted seamlessly into its modern surroundings - upon an oak floor and adjacent to an ultra-white, ultra-modern kitchen. Although we would usually not work with MDF, the client expressly wanted the smoothness of the finish, which can only otherwise be achieved by using more costly birch-faced plywood.
This project cost the client £495 |

Sash Windows...and not just sash windows. Whether they're new, renovated, painted or draft-proofed, we can do any project involving windows. New windows will be made from either spruce or, much better, sapele. A pair of single glazed sash windows, using the existing box and weights generally costs around £500. Double glazed sash windows with a new box and balances cost around £1100 each. |
